Reservation policies
Occupancy & guest fees
- Included: Site fees cover 2 adults and up to 2 children age 12 or under.
- Additional guests: Guests age 13 and over are $6.00 per person, per night (when staying in the registrants RV or tent).
Deposits & payments
- Deposit: All reservations require a 50% deposit at the time of booking.
- Final payment: The remaining balance will be charged 2 days before arrival.
Cancellation & refunds
- How to cancel: You must call the campground office to cancel. Text and email cancellations are not accepted.
- 30+ days prior to check-in: Full refund of all amounts paid, minus a $25.00 cancellation fee.
- 29 to 8 days prior to check-in: 50% refund of all amounts paid, minus a $25.00 cancellation fee.
- 7 days or less prior to check-in: No refunds.
- Early check-out: No refunds for early check-out under any circumstances.
- No-shows / no contact: If you do not arrive and do not contact us to cancel, you will be charged the full reservation amount.
- After check-in: Cancellations and refunds are not available after your check-in date (no exceptions).
Note: This cancellation & refund policy does not apply to seasonal sites.
Monthly reservations
- Rates: Monthly reservation rates are “plus metered electricity.”
- Meter reads: Electric meters will be read monthly and/or on your check-in and check-out dates.
- Billing: Billed per kilowatt hour as charged by Green Mountain Power.
Holidays
- Minimum stay: Holidays require a three-night minimum stay.
- Payment: Holiday reservations are payable in advance.
- Discounts: No discounts are honored on holiday weekends (Memorial Day, July 4th, and Labor Day) except military discounts.
Length of stay
- Tent sites: Maximum length of stay is 7 nights total in any 30 consecutive day period.
Site policies and fees
Site requests
- We will make every effort to honor your site preference.
- Specific site numbers are not guaranteed (unless you reserved a guaranteed/locked site), and site assignments may change due to maintenance, operational needs, or unexpected conditions.
Cleanliness
- Guests are responsible for cleaning sites prior to check out.
- Sites left without complete clean up will incur a $50.00 cleaning charge.
Amenities
- We do not provide cable TV.
Late check-out
- Please contact the campground office prior to the day of your check-out to request a late check-out.
- If available, late check-out is $3.00 per hour.
Policies for a safe and fun resort experience
Good manners & quiet hours
- Supervision: Parents/guardians are responsible for supervising children at all times.
- Respect: Children must not disturb other guests or enter other campsites without permission.
- Please respect other people’s sites (do not walk through or park on them).
- Quiet time: 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
- During quiet hours, please keep voices, music, and other sounds low so they cannot be heard by neighboring sites.
- Fireworks and noise-making devices are not permitted.
Pets
- Pets must be leashed (10 feet or less) when outside the owners RV or on sites.
- Please clean up after your pet.
- Aggressive or hostile animals will be asked to leave with their owners.
- Do not leave a tethered dog unattended.
- Do not leave pets alone in a hot RV or camper.
- Excessive barking or disruptive pet behavior is not permitted.
RV requirements
- All RVs must be RVIA compliant, with the RVIA decal clearly displayed.
- Homemade conversions, converted school buses, cars, trucks, vans, SUVs, enclosed trailers, former FEMA trailers, or commercial vehicles without an RVIA decal are not permitted.
- Please confirm compliance before making your reservation.
Vehicle washing, outdoor showers, and pools
- No vehicle washing: If you are reported washing any vehicle, a $75.00 charge will be processed to your account.
- No outdoor showers: Outdoor showers are prohibited. A $75.00 fee will be charged to your account.
- No pools: Inflatable/portable/kiddie pools are not permitted. A $75.00 fee will be levied for any pools filled on site.
Visitors
- Visitors must check in at the office and pay for a day-use pass.
- Day pass visitors may stay until 9:00 PM.
- A maximum of five guests per site are allowed.
- Overnight visitors must pay a regular resort fee.
Motorized vehicles & golf carts
- Minibikes and unregistered motorized vehicles (including golf carts, scooters, four wheelers, and go-carts) are not permitted.
- ADA-approved transportation (electric wheelchairs and scooters) is welcome.
Satellite dishes
- Satellite dishes should be placed on the right side of the camper and not extend more than five feet to the right.
- We do not guarantee satellite coverage.
Water safety (lake)
- Flotation devices (inner tubes and air mattresses) are not permitted in the lake.
- Swimming after dark is not permitted.
- There is no lifeguard on duty; you are responsible for members of your group.
- Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult (18+).
- The lake is for swimming only (no boats, canoes, or fishing).
- RC boats are permitted outside of the swimming area rope.
Fishing
- Fishing is not permitted in the lake.
- Nearby streams and state-stocked ponds offer fishing—please inquire for assistance.
Recycling & preserving the resort
- Please help with our recycling program. Information is available on our website and at the resort office.
- Please do not damage trees (peeling bark, driving nails, removing branches, cutting, trimming, etc.).
- No hazardous materials: Do not pour antifreeze, fuel, chemicals, or other hazardous materials onto the ground.
Fires, firewood, and propane
- Keep fires small and only in the fire rings provided. Please do not move fire rings.
- Only firewood from the State of Vermont is approved (state law). Local Vermont firewood is available at the resort office.
- Propane is available for purchase at the resort office.
Dump station & waste disposal
- The dumping station is located across from the resort office.
- Dumping is free to RVs and trailers upon departure.
- A $25.00 charge applies to dump on arrival for those not staying with us at LCRV.
- Guests are responsible for preventing wastewater from running onto the ground.
- Sink drain water must be collected in sealed containers and disposed of at the dump station near the resort office.
Generators
- Generators are not permitted in the resort.
RV condition
- RVs must be in good condition and proper working order.
- Permanent structures are not permitted.
- No wood, plywood, tarps, or materials not originally part of the RV exterior may be affixed to roofs, windows, doors, or exterior walls.
- Household furniture is not permitted on sites.
- Sewer hoses may not be connected if you are not on a full hookup site.
- RV exteriors must be free of trash or unsightly mess; tires must be functional (not flat).
- Damaged awnings must be repaired or removed immediately.
Drones
- Drones are not permitted on or above the grounds due to guest privacy concerns.
